  1. Dear User,

  3. If you just received TURBO Designer version 2, MAKE A BACK UP COPY!
  4.  
  5. Some other concerns:
  6.  
  7.    PRINTDOC will send the 30 page documentation to the printer.
  8.    Type PRINTDOC at the DOS prompt (e.g. C>"PRINTDOC"  you type everything
  9.    between the quotes, but not the quotes).
  10.  
  11.    Look at FILELIST.DOC for an explaination of the files on this disk.
  12.  
  13.    If you are having trouble with the cursor, SetCursor(B : Boolean); turns
  14.    the cursor on and off, respectively.
  15.  
  16.    TURBO Designer should work with all of the following:

  18.                                IBM PC
  19.                                XT
  20.                                XT CLONES
  21.                                XT TURBO CLONES
  22.                                AT
  23.                                AT CLONES
  24.                                AT TURBO CLONES
  25.                                386 systems
  26.                                Portable PC
  27.                                PCjr (I know this works)
  28.                                Monochrome systems
  29.                                Monographic systems
  30.                                CGA systems
  31.                                EGA systems
  32.                                P/S 2 Model 25,30,50,60,80
  33.                                PC convertable
  34.                                other laptops and portables
  35.  
  36.     If TURBO Designer doesn't work on your system, tell me your system's
  37.     configuration, model, manufacturer, amount of memory, DOS version number,
  38.     etc. so that I can warn other users.

  40.     To install TD1:
  41.  
  42.      Make sure these files exist in the TD1 directory
  43.          TD1.EXE
  44.          TD1.HIN
  45.          TD1.HLI
  46.          TD1.HTE
  47.  
  48.      Make sure these files exist in your TURBO Pascal directory
  49.           TD1VARS.TPU
  50.          TD1VIDEO.TPU
  51.          TD1UTILS.TPU
  52.  
  53.      TURBO Designer is now installed.
  54.  
  55.     Please read the documentation before using TD1 for serious work.
